NUMA began here — not as a business plan, but as a question asked in the hardest season a heart can carry: how do you hold onto faith when the answer isn't the one you prayed for?
IMMANUEL is a testimony to God's presence in both answered and unanswered prayer. It is not simply a watch inspired by loss. It is a testimony about God's presence in the middle of it — a reminder, worn daily, that even when the answer isn't the one we hoped for, He never left.
What the watch remembers
The alexandrite and aquamarine dial represents their estimated birthstones. Turn it over, and a custom rainbow rotor turns behind an exhibition caseback — unseen while worn, but always there — the sign of God's covenant and enduring faithfulness.

A bespoke NUMA can incorporate meaningful colors, birthstones, dates, initials, Scripture, hidden engravings, custom dial textures, symbolic imagery, caseback artwork, custom rotors, materials, and personal symbolism.
The goal isn't customization. It's translation.
We take the story and translate it into design.
A NUMA doesn't have to be your own story.

Care & Warranty
A NUMA is built to be worn, not shelved. A little care will let it carry your story for a lifetime.
Wearing & Winding
Every NUMA is automatic, wound by the natural motion of your wrist. Worn daily, it should keep running on its own. Set aside for more than a day or two, it may need a gentle manual wind or a few shakes to start again.
Water Resistance
Every NUMA is rated to at least 100 meters of water resistance — more than enough for daily life. Even so, we don't recommend deliberately submerging your watch or wearing it for activities that put unnecessary strain on it. Make sure the crown is fully closed before your watch gets wet; water damage from an open crown isn't covered under warranty.
Magnetism
Modern life is full of magnets — phone cases, laptop speakers, handbag clasps. Prolonged exposure can affect an automatic movement's accuracy. If your watch begins running fast or slow, magnetism is often the first thing to check.
Storage
When not worn, store your NUMA away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and humidity. A watch box or soft pouch protects the case and crystal between wears.
Cleaning
Wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth after wear, especially if it's been near salt water, sunscreen, or perfume. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners unless performed by a professional.
Servicing
Mechanical watches are living machines, and most benefit from professional servicing every five to ten years. If you think your NUMA is due, reach out to us directly — pricing depends on your watch's movement (Japanese, Swiss, automatic, manual-wind, and so on), so we'll walk through it with you.
Warranty
Every NUMA carries a one-year warranty against mechanical defects. Full terms, including what isn't covered, are outlined in our Commission Terms.

Information We Collect
When you reach out through our consultation form or contact page, we collect the information you provide directly — your name, email address, phone number (if given), and anything you choose to share about your story, including your answers to our consultation questions.
We do not collect payment information through this website.
How We Use Your Information
We use what you share to respond to your inquiry, prepare for your bespoke consultation, and communicate with you about your commission. We do not use your story, or any part of it, for marketing or public use without your explicit permission.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Payments for bespoke commissions are processed securely through Stripe; NUMA does not collect or store your card details directly. Consultation form submissions are collected and delivered to us using Netlify's built-in form-handling service, which also hosts this website. We do not currently use any other third-party service to process your information.
Data Retention & Security
We retain the information you share for as long as needed to complete your commission, plus three years afterward for our business and warranty records, after which it is deleted unless you ask us to remove it sooner or we're required to keep it longer by law. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who has access to it and relying on the security practices of the services that process it on our behalf, such as Stripe and Netlify.
Cookies & Analytics
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies of any kind. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it before those tools are put in place.
Your Rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us through our Contact page. NUMA ships domestically only, does not target customers outside the United States, and does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking tools of any kind — based on that, we do not believe GDPR or CCPA-specific requirements currently apply to this site. If that changes as NUMA grows, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Children's Privacy
NUMA is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of this site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Commission Terms
The Consultation
Every NUMA begins with the five-stage process outlined on our Bespoke page: Story, Meaning, Design, Creation, and Testimony. These terms govern the commission that follows your consultation.
Design Approval
Before creation begins, we'll present your design for review. Work does not begin until you've approved it in writing.
Payment
Once your design is approved, payment for your commission is collected in full before creation begins.
Changes After Approval
After approval, we'll keep you informed at each stage — when your parts are ordered, when they arrive, key points during assembly, and when your piece is ready.
If something goes wrong on our end, such as a faulty part, we'll let you know and may need to adjust your timeline. You will never be charged extra in these cases.
If you'd like to make a design change after approval, we can usually accommodate it, though it may affect both price and delivery time.
Timeline
From your first consultation to delivery, most commissions take four to six weeks. Because every piece is made to order, this can vary with complexity and materials.
If We're Unable to Complete Your Commission
In the rare case that we're unable to complete your piece as planned, we'll let you know why and work with you to find a way forward. If no solution can be found, you'll receive a full refund.
Cancellations
If you cancel your commission after your consultation, you'll receive a full refund. If parts for your piece have already been ordered by that point, we'll still complete the watch rather than let that work go to waste — it will join NUMA's own testimony collection, shared here and across our social channels, with your story kept anonymous.
If you've already received your watch and would like a refund for any reason, please ship it back to us first. Once we've confirmed the issue you've described, your refund is guaranteed.
Shipping & Delivery
NUMA currently ships domestically only, via insured UPS shipping. Please allow four to seven business days for delivery after your order ships.
Warranty & Care
Every NUMA carries a one-year warranty covering mechanical issues. It does not cover normal wear and tear, water damage from an open or unscrewed crown, or a shattered crystal from impact. General care guidance is on our Care & Warranty page.
